Meet Your Coach
Welcome! I’m Annely Thorstad, a passionate, lifelong paddler dedicated to enhancing athletic performance. I have a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a focus on Performance, a Master of Science in Sports Psychology, and am a Precision Nutrition Athletic Masters Program graduate. Currently, I am pursuing a PhD in Sport Performance Psychology, continuing my commitment to advance the field of paddle sport performance through innovative research, athletic nutrition, and functional movement through mobility, strength, and conditioning.
Having worked with over 1,000 athletes and coaches across the United States and Canada as a Sport Performance Specialist, I bring a wealth of experience to the table. I’ve earned medals at regional, national, and international competitions and have a deep connection to paddle sports, thanks to my roots in Atikokan, Ontario, Canada’s Canoe Capital. My expertise in sports psychology allows me to offer valuable insights that can transform athletic performance.
